The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has designated the Huangshan Yixian International Rural Tourism Resort as a national-level tourist destination.
Xixinan village, a small village in Anhui province with a history spanning 1,200 years, has emerged as a top destination. It has received over 600,000 visitors in 2024, surpassing its total from 2023. Known for its ancient buildings and irrigation heritage, the village has successfully blended its rich history with modern tourism.
To vitalize traditional villages and promote local cultural heritage, Huangshan has embarked on several campaigns to develop tourism.
The awarded design of the 2023 Beautiful Public Cultural Spaces Competition in the Yangtze River Delta and several other provinces and cities across China have been announced.
The Qiyun Mountain Ziyoujia (ZYJ) Treehouse Land Camp, a new and improved outdoor, sports and leisure destination – with a focus on eco-friendly treehouses – was recently reopened nearby the Qiyun Mountain Scenic Area in Xiuning county, in Huangshan city, in East China's Anhui province.
Huizhou district – located in Huangshan city in East China's Anhui province – has promoted the development of Fengle Park this year with the aim of improving the quality of life of its residents.
