The opening ceremony and roundtable meeting of the Insigma Technology • Huizhou Intelligent Manufacturing Science and Technology Innovation Industrial Park were held in Huizhou district in Huangshan city, Anhui province on April 16 to help boost the development of Huizhou district.
The park cost 397 million yuan ($57.79 million) to build and covers over 120,000 square meters. It was developed by the Huizhou district government and Zhejiang-based Insigma Technology Co Ltd.
During the opening of the industrial park, around 10 companies – including Huangshan Jinshimu Plastic Technology Co Ltd and Wuxi Weishi Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd – inked deals on site to settle in the park.
The companies specialize in such fields as automobiles and automobile parts and are expected to reach an annual output value of 450 million yuan.
"Thanks to the attentive services offered by Huizhou district departments at all levels to investors who came here to start their businesses, I believe in a promising future for both entrepreneurs and Huizhou district," said Mei Yuhua, CEO of Wuxi Weishi Intelligent Equipment Co Ltd.
During the roundtable meeting, the participants held in-depth discussions on cultivating small and medium-sized enterprises that specialize in niche sectors and the boosting intelligent manufacturing industry.
