Huangshan city in Anhui province has achieved great results from overseas business trips that have been supported by the provincial government.
A total of 67 enterprises are set to participate in international exhibitions in the current year. To date, 27 of them have already headed off to 13 expos, securing over 300 contacts and orders worth 1 billion yuan ($141.48 million).

In addition, 28 Huangshan-based enterprises recently attended the 133rd session of China Import and Export Fair.
During the show, contracts worth around $5 million were signed and orders worth $20 million were placed.

Business delegations from Huangshan city have also visited Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia, to carry out city promotions and investment promotions activities.
To further boost Huangshan's development, several business training activities and bank-enterprise ventures have been arranged.
Over 20 auto-parts enterprises in the metropolis have received training courses from global e-commerce platform eBay.
These activities are a part of Anhui's overall trade promotions campaign, aimed at attracting more business orders and foreign investment.
Since its launch at the end of last year, the campaign has enabled 110 enterprises from the province to carry out commerce and trade in over 20 countries and regions. The result has been 32 foreign investment cooperation projects, worth 12.1 billion yuan.
