A regional leg of the 2023 Chinese Tea Enthusiasts' Competition was recently held in Huangshan city, located in East China's Anhui province.
It wound up with gusto at the Anhui Tea Culture Museum, situated in Xiuning county in Huangshan.
The competition venue was filled with the delightful aroma of tea as competitors showcased their meticulously honed skills.
After an intense round, the top five individuals in the winning team – determined through theoretical knowledge tests as well as practical skills – earned the right to represent Huangshan in the finals of the 2023 Chinese Tea Enthusiasts' Competition.

The Chinese Tea Enthusiasts' Competition serves as a pivotal tea-related event hosted by the China National Tea Museum, located in Hangzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province.
Since its inception in 2009, it has evolved into a prestigious tea culture celebration, marking its 15th consecutive year and gaining recognition as a significant national cultural event.
To boost the spread of tea culture, discover and nurture tea enthusiasts and effectively embody this year's competition theme – "Enjoy Huangshan Tea, Integrate Intangible Cultural Heritage into Every Household" – Huangshan dedicated significant efforts into organizing the event.
The overall goal was to boost the development of the city's tea industry and cultivate a new generation of tea specialists.
