Huizhou district – located in Huangshan city in East China's Anhui province – has promoted the development of Fengle Park this year with the aim of improving the quality of life of its residents.

The park covers an impressive 170 mu (11.33 hectares) and cost 60 million yuan ($8.23 million).

Guided by a design philosophy that prioritizes ecological sustainability, diversity and regional identity, it seeks to seamlessly weave together special regional features like the Fengle River.

The overall vision is to establish a cultural and ecological corridor that captures the essence of Huizhou district.

Fengle Park includes two sections: the western natural ecological area and the eastern recreational amusement area.

The former opened its doors to the public in September. Meanwhile, excitement is building for the upcoming opening on Nov 18 of the eastern recreational amusement area, with a special focus on the children's playground.

It features the latest innovative amusement equipment in Huangshan city.

With a diverse array of 50 rides and activities – including the region's longest high-altitude glass water slide, a Ferris wheel and a 3D bouncing maze – the playground promises to redefine leisure and entertainment in the district.
