The past three quarters have seen Huangshan city make significant strides in enhancing the value of its food and agricultural products.

As a result, the output value of its top 10 green food sectors hit a record 51 billion yuan ($7.15 billion) during the period, marking a hefty 19 percent year-on-year increase. In addition, the agricultural product processing industry's total output value reached 21.1 billion yuan, up 9.5 percent on last year.

Taking advantage of this year's expo, the city aims to ensure that its food and agricultural products not only reach the Shenzhen market but also contribute to the food supplies in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
