Shexian county – located in Huangshan city in East China's Anhui province – recently held a signing ceremony for 22 major projects.
The total investment of the projects is 7.937 billion yuan ($1.1 billion), with two projects involving funding of over 1 billion yuan.
Of the 22 projects, nine are in the industrial sector, with a total investment of 2.44 billion yuan.
Six projects are in the cultural and tourism sector, with a total investment of 3.6 billion yuan.
Four projects are in the modern service sector, with a total investment of 1.28 billion yuan.
Two projects are in the agricultural sector, with a total investment of 602 million yuan.
One project is a strategic cooperation project.
In 2023, Shexian county saw the start of 119 new projects, the completion of 75 projects and a total investment of 9.7 billion yuan in 251 key county-level projects.
This year, Shexian county will focus on high-quality development and plans to attract at least 100 new projects with a total investment of at least 10 billion yuan.
