When patients receive prescriptions for herbal medicine at a public healthcare institution in Qimen county, they can immediately upload the prescriptions to the smart TCM platform. Platform staff then review the prescriptions, prepare the herbs, decoct the medicine, and package it for delivery. The prepared medicine is then delivered to the patient's community health center via express delivery.
The smart TCM platform has made it much easier for patients to access TCM services, as patients no longer need to travel to the county seat for TCM treatment. They can simply visit their local community health center and receive the same quality of care.
