Railway projects continue construction in Huangshan

The Chihuang and Xuanji high-speed rail lines are slated for completion and operation in the second and third quarters of this year, contributing over 200 kilometers to the railway network as several railway projects in Huangshan, Anhui province continue to advance after the lunar new year. 

With all 19 key railway projects in Anhui now back in full swing, construction activities have resumed across the board.

Noteworthy developments encompass the Shanghai-Nanjing-Hefei section and Hefei-Wuhan sections of the Yangtze River high-speed rail. Collectively, these projects span 1,520 kilometers and represent an investment of 295 billion yuan ($41.01 billion).

Looking ahead, the planned investment for 2024 exceeds 51 billion yuan, aimed at bolstering the province's infrastructure and fostering economic growth. This initiative is pivotal in expanding effective investment channels.

The rapid progress of these railway projects underscores the province's commitment to enhancing transportation infrastructure and connectivity. By modernizing and expanding the railway network, the province aims to facilitate smoother and more efficient travel, boost regional development, and stimulate economic activity.
