The line, connecting two tourism destinations in Anhui province, is expected to mark a significant leap in promoting regional tourism, saving vacationers' time in transfer, detours and waiting, thus sharing the cake of socio-economic development.
The railway's welcoming attitude toward visitors is beyond conspicuous as its stops are attached to scenic spots including Huangshan Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain and Taiping Lake.

After completion, the 125-kilometer railway section will allow high-speed railway trains to gallop as fast as 350 km per hour.
Eight hundred and thirty five times of real-train trials had been put into place for a comprehensive examination of safety and quality by March 25 in all. The line is due to open to the public later in April.
