Following the spring equinox, Huangshan's tea gardens burst into action. The 18th Taiping Houkui Tea Culture and Tourism Festival spotlighted local tea culture, celebrating Huangshan's position as a tea capital. In 2023, the city's tea industry yielded 47,000 tons, driving economic growth.

Huangshan prioritizes specialty industries like tea, flowers, and fish to revitalize rural areas. Emphasizing eco-friendly practices and innovation, the city is developing unique tea products. Additionally, it promotes tourism and educational experiences centered around tea culture.
