Tourists flock to Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon filming location in Huangshan's emerald valley

Following her Weibo post on May 5th, this is her first TikTok video about Emerald Valley, drawing numerous tourists to the site.

Visitors like Cheng Yao from Hangzhou, inspired by Zhang's post, are experiencing Emerald Valley for the first time. They marvel at its beauty, with crystal-clear pools and vibrant green waters. Volunteers at the site recommend other local attractions, encouraging tourists to explore and savor the region's culinary delights.

Emerald Valley, located at the foot of Huangshan, boasts over 100 unique pools that reflect a spectrum of colors in the sunlight, resembling precious gemstones. The valley's serene bamboo forests and clear streams enhance its natural charm. As a filming location for the Oscar-winning movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," the valley rekindles memories of iconic scenes, such as bamboo forest fights and lovers by the pools.

Known as "Lover's Valley," Emerald Valley gained its romantic reputation from a story in 1988 when 36 Shanghai youths found love there. The site now features love-themed attractions like the Love Corridor and Couples' Avenue, making it a popular spot for romantic visits.

Emerald Valley's management has improved tourist facilities, including unique homestays and eco-tourism tea gardens, offering diverse activities like educational tours and tea-picking experiences. As a 4A-rated national tourist attraction, Emerald Valley continues to thrive, combining natural beauty with cultural richness.
