Huangshan tea party debuts in London

On June 16, the unique "Huangshan tea party" was held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London, the United Kingdom. A delegation from Huangshan participated to engage with local Chinese business leaders and British enterprise representatives.

The event featured documentaries such as "Creative Huangshan, Beautiful Huizhou," immersing attendees in the city's culture and beauty. Chen Shirong, the president of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in the UK, emphasized the need to place Huangshan on the global map and suggested leveraging international exhibitions and opening a Huizhou cultural center in the UK.

Fang Gang, the president of the Hunan Association in the UK, recalled Huangshan's iconic Welcome Pine and local delicacy, stinky mandarin fish. He stressed the importance of sharing Huangshan's unique stories and cuisine with the world.

Local business leaders Wang Fang and Zhai Duming expressed pride in Huangshan's development and its potential as a beautiful showcase for Anhui and China. They highlighted tourism as Huangshan's key attraction for international cultural exchange.

Lu Xiaosheng of the University of Science and Technology of China Alumni Association in the UK suggested linking new resources with Huangshan and inviting UK university presidents to visit. Yin Jie, vice chairman of the UK Chinese Business Association, proposed promoting Huangshan tea at the World Chinese Business Convention.

The event fostered deeper connections, with the Huangshan Investment Promotion Bureau signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the UK Chinese Business Association. Officials emphasized the need for cultural exchange and cooperation in heritage protection, economic exchange, tourism promotion, and city management.

The rich aroma of Huangshan tea left a lasting impression, symbolizing a promising future of collaboration and cultural exchange.
