The 18th Huizhou Ancient City Folk Culture Festival commenced on Jan 23 and will continue through February, inviting you to celebrate Chinese New Year with a vibrant array of activities across Huangshan!
Tunxi district's Spring Festival Lantern Parade will take place on Jan 24 from 19:30 to 21:00 at Tunxi Old Street, Tunxi River Street, and Liyang Old Street.

The Yixian Ancient City Spring Market will run from Jan 23 to Feb 4 and resume on Feb 12. It will feature performances like iron flower and fire kettle shows.

The Taiping Wenchang Festival and Folk Parade will be held on Jan 29 in Gantang town, Huangshan district.
The Yanshi Old Street Spring Festival Celebration will run from Jan 31 to Feb 3, Feb 6, and Feb 12. It will feature lantern parades, Huizhou Opera, lion dances, and other traditional performances.
Tunxi River Street Spring Festival-themed activities are scheduled to be held from Jan 29 to Feb 4. They will include a wishing wall for visitors to pen their New Year wishes and a riverside concert.
The "Huizhou Collection" Garden Fair will take place in Shexian Huizhou Ancient City from Jan 23 to 25 and Jan 29 to Feb 4. It will showcase intangible heritage products like fish lanterns, Huizhou ink, paper cutting, hairpins, as well as traditional New Year goods.

Also, don't miss the Shangjiu Temple Fair and Folk Performances in Huizhou district from Feb 3 to 7.
Last but not least, Tunxi district's Sanjiangkou Fashion Block will host a Lantern Festival intangible heritage folk parade on Feb 11.
