On Feb 8, local time in the United Kingdom, the "Happy Chinese New Year" series of events took place at the Bristol Museum. Qimen black tea stood out prominently during the event, where the skills of Chinese tea culture were showcased.
The event started with a traditional tea art performance by the Qimen Black Tea Group, where tea artisans demonstrated the exquisite skills of Chinese tea culture.
In the intangible cultural heritage exhibition area, the Qimen Black Tea Group used tea as a medium to showcase Chinese New Year culture to the audience.
Audiences were able to immerse themselves in the historical charm encapsulated in Chinese tea, experiencing China's profound and enduring traditional culture.
This event marks the first time Qimen black tea's craftsmanship, listed in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, has ventured overseas during the Spring Festival celebrations.
As a diplomatic gift tea, Qimen black tea has contributed to deepening the understanding and friendship between the people of China and the UK.
