The large-scale cultural performance Hui Xiu has become a must-see spectacle for international visitors in Huangshan, earning rave reviews for its breathtaking visuals and emotional storytelling.
"The show was visually stunning - both grand and dreamlike. After watching the performance at Huangshan Performing Arts City, we were deeply moved and almost brought to tears several times," said tourists from Busan, South Korea.
Since its debut, Hui Xiu has welcomed over 10,000 international guests from South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and other countries. The 70-minute epic performance is divided into six chapters and explores the thousand-year history of Huizhou culture. It utilizes advanced technology, including holographic LED screens, hydraulic stage effects, and precision lighting.
Adjacent to the theater, the "Wonderful Huizhou" themed street replicates the architectural style of ancient Huizhou, while the "Nightless Huangshan" district offers engaging experiences reminiscent of the 1930s.
"Huangshan Performing Arts City blends culture and technology to create a truly immersive experience," said Shan Shan, the resort's deputy general manager. With the resumption of direct flights from Seoul and Busan, more Korean tourists are visiting, drawn by Hui Xiu and Huangshan's natural beauty.
