Huangshan Maofeng and Taiping Houkui have recently ranked among China's top 20 public brand values in the green tea sector.
The 2025 China Green Tea Regional Public Brand Value Assessment Report was announced on June 27 during the 2025 China (Shenzhen) International Spring Tea Industry Expo and the 5th World Green Tea Conference.
Grown among the misty peaks of Huangshan Mountain, Huangshan Maofeng is known for its delicate orchid-like aroma and subtly sweet flavor. This high-quality green tea features unique feather-shaped leaves covered in white fuzz and has been a tribute tea since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The perfect altitude of 700-800 meters enhances its quality, securing its reputation as one of China's top teas.

Taiping Houkui is characterized by its large, flat leaves that can grow up to 15 centimeters in length. Cultivated in Huangshan district, this rare tea is processed through a distinctive method. It offers a refreshing flavor, complemented by a lasting chestnut sweetness and a notable orchid aroma, earning it several international accolades, such as the Gold Medal at the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition.
