Huangshan's auto parts industry is gaining momentum in international markets, with a growing number of products shipped overseas via innovative logistics solutions.
Since May 2022, the Huangshan-Ningbo-Zhoushan Port sea-rail intermodal route, operated by Huangshan Construction Investment Group, has transported nearly 1,000 TEUs of auto parts and related products.
"Compared to traditional road transport, this model reduces logistics costs by over 20 percent," said a representative of Huangshan Modern Logistics Group. The new Huangshan-Xuancheng-Ningbo-Zhoushan Port route, launched in August 2024, has further cut rail transit time.
Customs data shows that Huangshan exported 160 million yuan ($22.3 million) worth of auto parts in the first half of 2025, a 39.9 percent year-on-year increase, with steering systems, electronic stability control modules, and brake calipers as key exports. Major markets include Malaysia, Poland, and the United States.
To support exporters, Huangshan Customs has issued 78 certificates of origin worth 23.2 million yuan in H1, helping firms save over 1 million yuan in tariffs. It also offers tailored Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification guidance and streamlined clearance for complex auto parts.
With optimized logistics and policy support, Huangshan's auto parts sector is shifting toward global growth.
