From AI-powered medical diagnosis and treatment to medicinal cuisine and public health lectures, Huangshan is promoting local Xin'an medicine in an effort to breathe new vitality into the healthcare tourism industry.
By tapping into its rich local heritage of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Huangshan is promoting boutique guesthouses, cultural courses, the principle of "food as medicine," and TCM diagnosis and treatment. Since the beginning of this year, the number of visitors coming to the city for wellness experiences has exceeded 2.7 million.

At the Xin'an wellness center, an AI-powered diagnostic instrument can identify a person's health status in no more than one to two minutes, while the smart moxibustion equipment makes the traditional therapy more precise. At the Xin'an medicine museum, lectures on tea and health regularly draw a full house.
