On Nov 23, Anhui University's School of International Education partnered with Huangshan's Huizhou district to establish a global cultural study center at Dalingshan Tourist Resort, strengthening international ties to Huangshan's cultural heritage, with more than 40 international students from over 10 countries taking part.
The university honored Huizhou district with the title of "International Research and Exchange Center of Hui Culture" and recognized Dalingshan Tourist Resort as the "Chinese Culture Educational Practice Base for International Students".
The event featured an immersive cultural program including a dynamic dragon dance, hands-on bamboo weaving, and the chance to hand-paint a traditional Huizhou fish lantern. Through these activities, students connected directly with local intangible cultural heritage in a vibrant and interactive setting.
After the ceremony, the group visited Tangmo Scenic Area to explore ancestral halls and historic architecture — deepening their understanding of Huizhou's unique village landscapes and cultural legacy.
The event served as a platform for academic cooperation, fueling the innovative development and international exchange of Huizhou culture.
