Li Li, the executive vice president of the Sino-American Friendship Association, introduced Huangshan on site: "Mount Huangshan is not only a Chinese treasure, but also a UNESCO World Heritage site, Global Geopark, and Biosphere Reserve."
She highlighted Huangshan's recent accolades, such as being named one of The New York Times' "52 Places to Go in 2025" and relisted in the IUCN Green List.
"The city of Huangshan is an open-air museum", she added, "with 310 traditional villages and a rich cultural heritage, which includes art forms such as the Huizhou fish-shaped lantern."
The destination is also enhancing its global appeal through digital innovation — launching the multilingual AI travel assistant of Mount Huangshan and supporting diverse payment methods.
Visitors at the square, like Emily from California, shared: "The mountains and clouds look like a living Chinese painting — I really want to go there."
This high-profile appearance marks another step forward for Huangshan's international strategy, strengthening its role as a global bridge for cultural exchange and sustainable tourism.
