With the theme of "cross-border interconnection to sell goods worldwide," more than 20 industry summits and forums were held, covering 30 industrial belts across the country.

The expo set up five themed exhibition zones and 10 product exhibition zones. It gathered more than 600 foreign trade supply companies, 150 service providers, and 30 cross-border e-commerce platforms from Fujian, Guangdong, Zhejiang, as well as Jiangsu provinces.

The expo attracted many industry giants. Amazon, Alibaba, eBay, and other leading cross-border e-commerce companies gathered together to seek new orders and opportunities under the COVID-19 pandemic.

"The domestic cross-border e-commerce is in a thriving era with huge potential," said an executive from Alibaba.com. He also noted that Alibaba will be committed to building a digital operating system.

Business organizations from South Korea, Canada, Japan, and more than 20 countries participated in the exhibition, which also brought many international products.

A visitor surnamed Cai, who came from Quanzhou, Fujian province, said that the expo has such a large scale and a complete industrial chain. "It is convenient to find service providers at the exhibition," he added.

"As one of the cross-border e-commerce B2B pilot cities, Xiamen is taking the opportunity and using its advantages in the institutional innovation to expand this platform," said Zhang Quanjun, chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Xiamen Committee.

"We will provide enterprises with better cross-border resources, as well as serve domestic and foreign cross-border e-commerce enterprises in the future." Zhang added.
