The education bureau in Hohhot – capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous bureau – recently announced its enrollment plan for the 2024-2025 academic year, including the first intake at the Hohhot Second High School (Jinchuan Campus) located in the Yili Future Intelligence and Health Valley.

The school plans to admit eight classes in the city area, seven in the urban area and one in Tumd Left Banner – marking a significant step in balancing the high-quality education resources of Hohhot.

At the same time, approval was granted for the construction of the Inner Mongolia Medical University Affiliated Chilechuan Hospital in the Yili Future Intelligence and Health Valley. Contractors are set to start work on the new hospital this year, with the facility on completion expected to boost public health and medical services in the region.

The Jinchuan Campus of Hohhot Second High School – strategically located in the core of the health valley near the National Dairy Industry Technology Innovation Center – will offer modern facilities and adopt a small class system with 45 students per class.

The Chilechuan Hospital, affiliated with Inner Mongolia Medical University, will cover over 30 departments, providing comprehensive medical services on completion.

Yili Future Intelligence and Health Valley, a key project in the region's development plan, aims to create a world-class livable and business-friendly urban complex. Thirteen national projects have already settled in the area, including the National Dairy Industry Technology Innovation Center and National Commercial Service Logistics Hub.
