Huizhou Skyline

chinadaily.com.cn| Updated: August 5, 2022

The Huizhou Skyline is a scenic road located in the southeast of Huangshan city, East China's Anhui province.

It is composed of the Huangjian Skyline, the Baiji Skyline and the Shishi Highway – covering eight villages and towns in Tunxi district, Xiuning and Shexian counties – with four entrances, a long loop road and three feeder roads.

Boasting rich tourism resources along its way, it is an important part of the No 1 Tourist Scenic Road that runs through Anhui and Zhejiang provinces. It is also acclaimed as the Anhui's "Dushanzi-Kuqa highway" – one of China's most beautiful roads in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

More than 50 kilometers of the road are at an altitude of over 800 meters and nearly 20 km are at an altitude of over 1,000 meters.

There are temporary closures of the Huizhou Skyline periodically due to its special topography.
