A total of 11 scenic spots in Yixian county, Huangshan city, Anhui province will open for free to all female tourists on International Women's Day, which falls on March 8.
These include the celebrated Hongcun village and Xidi village. These two UNESCO World Heritage Sites are colloquially referred to "the country's most beautiful villages" thanks to their natural landscapes and ancient buildings.
