Huangshan city bid farewell to the first trans-provincial tourism train to the city this year on March 16, as 798 tourists from Xi'an city, Shaanxi province wrapped up their four-day trip there and were left deeply impressed by the local spring scenery.
The tourists enjoyed their time visiting Huangshan Mountain, Xidi village and the mysterious grottoes in Huashan Mountain.
"This is the first time I've been to Huangshan and people here are very friendly. The scenery is amazing, especially when all the rapeseed flowers, pear blossoms and peach blossoms are in bloom," said Zhao Shuming, one of the tourists.
"This marks the seventh year that we've been to Huangshan, and also the first destination of our trans-provincial tourism train this year," said He Cui, a manager at Shaanxi Youlian International Travel Agency Co Ltd.
He added that they chose Huangshan city for its superb spring views in March, noting that the city had left tourists with some great memories given its high-quality services.
After the Xi'an tourism train, there will be more trans-provincial tourism trains from several other provinces, according to Li Fan, who works with Huangshan Tourism Development Co Ltd and helped organize the trip.
