Achievers get awards for social and economic gains

Thirty-four outstanding proposals and 16 advanced units including the Publicity Department of the municipal Party Committee were cited for awards on the Jan 15 opening day of the 2nd Session of the 9th Zhuhai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

Some of the proposals were credited with improving the real-economy environment, creating intelligent manufacturing core industrial clusters, constructing public cultural service systems, and deploying preschool educational resources.

Others were recognized for contributions to elder care, transport linkages, and wetlands protection. They all buttressed the city's economic and social undertakings with dedication. 

Since the 1st session, CPPCC municipal committee members and other representatives have conducted in-depth investigations into citywide economic, social layout, and popular livelihood issues.  

They have moved social and economic programs forward by participating in the administration and discussion of state affairs and exercising democratic supervision when making proposals, claimed a government official.
