Zhuhai Airport adds more flights to more cities

The summer-autumn timetable at Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport lists more flights to Chengdu, Chongqing, and Hangzhou along with new destinations Hohhot, Changde, Hengyang, and Shantou beginning March 25.

This will bring Zhuhai's total air connections to 28 Chinese cities. And, as China Southern Airlines expands its fleet from eight to 11, the number of flights through Zhuhai Airport will increase by 16 percent year-on-year to 414 per week.

CZ3719 hops to the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will depart Zhuhai at 8:30 or 8:55 am and arrive in Hohhot at 1:25 or 1:55 pm. The return will leave at 3 pm and set down at 8:10 that evening.

Flights to Shantou of Guangdong Province are scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. A plane will leave Zhuhai mornings at 7:05 and land at 8:05 am. Then it will depart Shantou at 4:15 pm to return at 5:20 pm.

Flights to Hengyang of Hunan Province will depart at 8:35 am and arrive at 9:40 on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings. For the return, takeoff is at 6 pm and landing at 7:10 pm.

Zhuhai-Changde flights are slated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. One will lift off for Changde at 6:20 pm and descend at 8:10 pm. The other will take off at 10:45 am and reach Zhuhai at 12:35 am.

According to the summer-autumn timetable, more than three flights daily will be made for Beijing and Shanghai (Pudong) cities, and Hangzhou of Zhejiang, and Zhengzhou of Henan provinces.

There will be at least two daily trips to Changchun of Jilin, Dalian of Liaoning, Chongqing, Chengdu of Sichuan, Wuhan of Hubei, and Guiyang of Guizhou provinces. This will bring convenience to Zhuhai residents and those in neighboring Macao, Zhongshan, and Jiangmen.
