The boutique Hengqin Bay Sea Cruise Route came into service on April 10 offering relaxing views of Zhuhai and Macao's picturesque natural scenery as well as firsthand looks at how well humankind is developing the region.
The 90-minute cruise sails from Hengqin Passenger Terminal. It affords charming views of harbors and unique architecture, which includes a weathered Macao shipyard built in the 1960s, the Lotus Bridge linking Cotai with Hengqin Island, hotel complex in Taipa Island, and the University of Macau.

Also in sight are Zhuhai Tower, the tallest building in the city; Hengqin Phoenix Tree Tower; and the incredible transformation of the Hengqin Free Trade Zone.
Three trips are made daily with tickets available from local travel agencies and at Hengqin Wharf. The cruises are operated by Jiuzhou Port Passenger Service, a subsidiary of Jiuzhou Holdings Group.
The route is designed for tourists to kick back and relax. They are encouraged to come aboard after visiting Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort. According to a local official, the development will promote Hengqin tourism by offering seamless connection between tourist attractions.
