Appetizing tea refreshments, culinary delicacies, artistic performances, and other family fun are in store for both residents and visitors on April 29 and 30, the first two days of the May Day holiday.
The activities are part of the 2018 Zhuhai National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone May Day Carnival & 4th Tangjiawan Gourmet Festival. They will run from 9 am to 5 pm at Gree Coast Binhai Park off North Lovers Avenue.
Each village in the area will send a team to make Tangjiawan Tea Refreshments, while showcasing the unique charm of local specialties. Visitors will be invited to participate in the taste evaluation.

Meanwhile, 25 catering enterprises, known as Tangjia Cuisine award winners from previous years, will provide characterized foods that can rarely be found elsewhere.
With the addition of 50 to 60 food stalls from across the nation, the event intends to offer "a trip around the country through the tip of the tongue".
A children's amusement park will also operate during the May Day holiday, with a large number of recreational choices.

The field opposite the amusement park will have a May Day Carnival Zone displaying kindergarten handicrafts. Tourists will be encouraged to try some crafts themselves.
In addition to clown and cosplay shows, the carnival zone has booths that offer kites to paint before flying.
The festive atmosphere will be further enhanced by rip-roaring band performances in front of the dolphin statue at Gree Coast Binhai Park.
