Feeling Zhuhai Photo Contest; give us your best shot!

Participate in the Feeling Zhuhai Photo Contest for a chance to win up to 5,000 yuan ($783) in cash and draw public attention to your photographs. Organized by Zhuhai Press Media Holdings Ltd, the ongoing contest is soliciting contestants from whom 350 winners in 10 categories will be selected.

Entry Deadline: June 18, 2018

Eligibility:

The contest is open to all professional and amateur photographers from any background.

Digital photos, including from mobile phones, taken anywhere in Zhuhai are allowed without restrictions on shooting equipment.

Submission criteria:

Themes involve: ecological environment, urbanscape, social life, historical sites and cultural events, technological innovation, large-scale happenings, urban activities, transportation facilities, education, and whatever else you find interesting about Zhuhai.

Hi-resolution image: a JPG file format with a length of 1,024DPI is a must, and it should not exceed 1m in size. Entrants will be asked to submit original digital files of more than 4,000DPI in length, that process to be completed within a week after notice is given. Photos failing to reach that high resolution are ineligible.

All submissions should be original and retain EXIF data information. Composite photos (blending exposures, focus stacking, cutting and pasting sections of other photos, cloning or creating objects) are not allowed.

Participants may send a maximum of 30 (single) photographs.

Portrait rights, copyrights, and reputation rights involved in the entries shall be retained by the photographers themselves. The organizing committee shall not assume any responsibility.

The organizing committee, however, has the right to use award-winning works for non-profit display in exhibitions, media displays, album productions, and the like. The works will be recommended to appropriate departments in compensation for non-payment.

All contestants who submit works are deemed to have fully understood and agreed to all the requirements of the competition.

How to submit photos:

E-mail: send with an attachment of works and basic information (work title, film location, photographer's real name, and contact information) to the organizing committee at zhuhai@cphoto.net, and note in the subject line: "work submission for Feeling Zhuhai."

Awards & Prizes:

First: Three at 5,000 yuan ($786)

Second: Six at 3,000 yuan ($471.50)

Third: Nine at 1,000 yuan ($157)

Excellent: Thirty-two at 500 yuan ($78.50)

Additional: Three hundred at 200 yuan ($31.50)

Opportunities: All the winning works shall be displayed at exhibitions representing the city image of Zhuhai or be published in various media.

Notice: Prizes are all after taxes and no participant is eligible for multiple ones.
