An exhibition of works by Chinese landscape painting master Lu Yushun is on display at the Gu Yuan Museum of Art on West Meihua Road in New Xiangzhou and will run through June 18.
Lu, executive vice-president of the China National Academy of Painting, created the series of "Belt & Road" Human Civilization paintings as part of the "Belt & Road" International Art Program.
Most of the paintings are derived from Lu's field trips abroad. He blended Western "reproduction" and Chinese "presentation" by doing oil and colors with a freehand style in Chinese painting.
Organizers of the painting exhibition are the National Museum of China, China Artists Association, and China National Academy of Painting.
