Air quality continues to be among country's cleanest

Once again, air quality in Zhuhai is rated in the top 10 of 74 cities monitored during May, according to the Ministry of Ecology & Environment.

Zhuhai had the second-best air quality last month, just behind Haikou, and was followed by Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Nanning, Shenzhen, Lishui, Xiamen, Zhoushan, and Guiyang.

The days in May up to national standards increased to 93.5 percent, with a general decline in PM2.5, PM10, and O3, which averaged at 55, 27, and 145 mcg per cubic meter respectively.

Haikou, Lhasa, Zhoushan, Lishui, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Zhuhai, Huizhou, Fuzhou, and Zhongshan made up the top 10 cities with good quality from January to May.
