Beach fun, camping, and contests to liven up Jinwan

The Jinwan Beach Camping Festival, to be held at Golden Beach from July 13 to 15, promises to be entertaining, enjoyable, and relaxing. Highlighted are memorable camping experiences integrating water-sprinkling and bonfire parties, not to mention a huge-screen presentation of the World Cup finals.

According to the district's Culture, Sports & Tourism Bureau, the first day will stage the 2018 Jinwan District Street Dance Competition from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. The second evening will offer a 60-sq-m (646-sq-ft) screen to show the final competition of the 2018 FIFA World Cup to more than a thousand viewers. Also scheduled are 100-person tugs-of-war, Golden Beach runs, evening parties, and other carnival activities.

People may either bring their own tents or rent them at large organized sites. Meanwhile, temporary parking spaces will supplement the current 2,000 slots. Direct bus lines are also to run.
