The China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition returns to the Zhuhai Airshow Center from Nov 6 to 11 with a record 770 domestic and international exhibitors from 43 countries and regions in attendance.
Having hosted 11 times in Zhuhai, the biennial Airshow China not only showcases China's national defense strength and military-civilian achievements but also promotes global military exchanges and cooperation.
With the addition of Hall 10, the indoor exhibition area this year will increase by 22 percent to exceed 10 hectares (25 acres). Meanwhile, the 40-hectare (99-acre) outdoor display area is to accommodate over 100 aircraft from home and abroad. These include the domestically made ARJ 21 twin-engine regional jet and Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft.
Leading domestic military industrial enterprises will showcase their latest products, technologies, services, and achievements. Chinese air and land forces will bring cutting-edge active-duty weapons and equipment. Maritime defense products will also be spotlighted for a full display of land, sea, air, space, and electric systems.
Flight formation
The ground equipment dynamic demonstration area will be expanded to nearly 11 hectares (27 acres). China North Industries Group Corp, China South Industries Group Corp, Dongfeng Motor Corp, and BAIC Group, among others, will use more than 30 types of equipment in a series of performances such as longitudinal slope climbing, puddle crossing, and serpentine maneuvering.
Hall 9 will be dedicated to Guangdong's military-civilian integration achievements. Nearly 21 enterprises will exhibit radars, missile launch vehicles, missiles, dual-use unmanned vessels, digital combat simulation systems, aeronautical facilities, unmanned aerial vehicles, and drone defense systems.
This year's exhibition will embrace more top 100 aviation and aerospace enterprises and players from Belt & Road countries. Nearly 200 military and political trade delegations from more than 60 countries and 140,000 professionals are expected to receive orders.
In addition, there are about 150 themed activities including aviation and aerospace summits, China defense product promotions, signing ceremonies, new-product releases, market forecast meetings, and one-to-one business negotiations.
