An aircraft carrying 178 passengers touched down at Huangshan Tunxi International Airport at 14:40 on March 29, marking the maiden flight of the Huangshan-Kuala Lumpur charter route.
To further meet passengers' travel needs and support the tourism and economic development of Huangshan city, Huangshan Tunxi International Airport plans to operate seven international and regional routes this year.
Starting Jan 5, 2025, people will be able to take the high-speed rail directly from Huangshan to Hong Kong.
Huangshan will offer half-price tickets throughout the year for foreign tourists at 14 4A-level or above fee-charging scenic spots, including Mount Huangshan Scenic Area, Hongcun and Xidi villages.
On the evening of Sept 13, an A320 aircraft carrying 172 Korean tourists landed at Huangshan Airport, marking the opening of the Huangshan-Woosan route.
