Guangxi overseas students try out Guiju opera

Overseas students of nine countries studying in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region experience the distinctive charms of Guiju opera in Guilin in the spring.

Guiju opera has a history of over 300 years and is the most representative local opera in Guangxi.

Deng Fei, an inheritor of Guiju opera, noted that it is a great chance for Guiju opera to be promoted abroad, which will enable more people in other countries to learn about Guangxi's history and culture.
