Ancient Zuotang village is located in Fuli town, Yangshuo county, Guilin city situated along the banks of the Lijiang River, boasting a history of over 600 years.

Originally a post station along the waterway of the Lijiang River, Ancient Zuotang village later developed into a settlement. Most of the villagers came from the nearby Penghan village. Due to limited land, some villagers came here to reclaim land, eventually forming Ancient Zuotang village.

The village retains its ancient bluestone and cobblestone steps and six stone arch bridges, which feature a unique architectural style rare in the local area.

In July 1945, the Linyang Allied Forces conducted two battles here, achieving victory against overwhelming odds and leaving behind valuable remnants of the red culture.

Yangshuo county initiated the restoration project of the former site of the Linyang Allied Forces Command to inherit the red spirit, carrying out restoration work on the revolutionary sites. This included the construction of artillery towers, training grounds, and canteens and establishing a red tourism route.

Furthermore, the village selected red cultural interpreters from the Linyang Allied Forces, developed high-quality courses on Party spirit education, and attracted over 60,000 visitors to retrace the footsteps of the revolution.

Today, leveraging its red cultural relics and resources, Ancient Zuotang village has developed into a resort integrating agriculture, culture, and tourism.
