Spring Festival celebrations held in Guilin's parks

On Feb 7, in preparation for the upcoming Spring Festival, major parks in Guilin launched a series of diverse and entertaining activities, offering up a rich and colorful holiday feast.

Zizhou Park is hosting the 2024 Guilin Spring Festival Tulip Flower Exhibition, showcasing approximately 190,000 pots of various flowers, including about 120,000 pots of tulips and a total of 50 varieties. The park is also displaying a centerpiece representing the traditional Chinese zodiac culture of the Year of the Dragon, incorporating large-scale bamboo artworks infused with Guilin's landscape culture.

Additionally, the park will host activities such as tulip knowledge exhibitions, dragon dance performances, land-based dragon boat games, tulip charity sales, and flower arrangement exhibitions.

Yushan Park and Xishan Park are presenting spring couplets to residents, creating a festive atmosphere and collecting feedback and suggestions from the public about the parks.

The Botanical Garden has set up a Spring Festival flower fair, giving people the chance to purchase various plants and flowers. Meanwhile, Nanxi Mountain Park will hold a park activity on the second day of the Chinese lunar year, including dragon-spotting, blessings, flower arrangement, and the distribution of fresh flowers.

These vibrant activities will help people get into the Spring Festival spirit and celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year in the best way possible.
