Quanzhou, Xing'an , Guanyang, and Pingle counties in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, have been listed on the list of the 2024 Guangxi Cultural Heritage of 1,000-Year-Old Ancient Counties and Towns.
Quanzhou county located in the northeast of Guangxi has a history of 1,085 years. The county is known for producing citrus, grapes, and rice, making it an important agricultural region. It is also significant for its historical sites and renowned for its unique cuisine like vinegar blood duck. It played a crucial role in the Battle of Xiangjiang River during the Long March in the 1930s and boasts 18 red tourism sites.

Xing'an county in the northeast of Guangxi started to use its current name in 977. The county has plentiful tourism offerings, including the ancient Lingqu Canal and Mao'er Mountain. It is also a production base and demonstration zone for products such as grapes and citrus.
Guanyang county, located at the junction of Hunan province and Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, is the birthplace of the Yao ethnic culture and Guiju Opera. The county has a long history, rich cultural heritage, and numerous archaeological sites.
Pingle county has been a cultural and economic exchange center in the south of Guilin since ancient times. It gets the name Pingle dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Pingle county is known for its diverse cultural heritage, including Mazu culture. The county's beautiful landscapes and cultural attractions make it a popular destination for tourists.
